Today we have the trifecta of things that cause stress: a pandemic, politics and Christmas catalogs in the mailbox. Fortunately, I have something to counterbalance the stressors. A beaver marsh.
Today there was ice on the shaded north side. This won’t last long. Temperatures will be rising all week.
In the woods that surrounds the marsh, most of the leaves have come down and light streams in.
I often post one-minute stress reducing videos on my Instagram feed. I thought that because of that aforementioned trifecta, that I’d put up three here on my blog.
Here’s the marsh.
Come walk with me in the woods.
After a summer’s drought, the stream is running again.
There, do you feel better? I do!
Thank you! Lovely to take a walk with you, and that trifecta is so welcome today.
You’re very welcome 🙂
How lovely – thank you for sharing. I grew up being read the Thornton Burgess stories, and seeing your walks around, and talks about, Turtle Hill and environs bring them to life again!
I read every one of those books. I’ve also gone to the Burgess home on Cape Cod. There’s a nature center and jam kitchen. http://www.thorntonburgess.org
Wonderful, beautiful video’s, so envious of where you are. Brilliant to relief stress and exercise at the same time really sets you up for the day. Stay safe 🙂
Thank you for the stress relief post. I just spent 4 days out of 5 trail riding, no radio, no television, the trees are still really pretty in places, temps are in the 70’s.
