I bought Tonka seven years ago, yesterday.
Having him in my life has been better than I dreamed (and I dreamed a lot!) Every time that I go to the barn feels like a new gift. Simply put, this horse makes me happy.
We’ve already done a lot together.
We keep learning new things,
and heading out on adventures.
We work hard and try out best, but always have fun doing it.
Here’s to many, many more years together, Tonka!

Wow! Seven years! Hard to believe, as it seems like yesterday yet feels like he’s always been here on our screens! What a treat it’s been, sharing him with you, Terry.
I wished for a pony all my childhood but sadly that wish never came true. Chickens and dogs are/were good to have in my life but if I’m honest there’s still a horse-shaped hole…
I’m guessing there’s a mint involved in that last photo… Tonka’s sticking out his tongue!
I got goats thinking that they’d fill in the hole I had from not having a horse. The goats are entirely delightful on their own terms. But not horses. Nothing is like a horse.
As far as that tongue… sometimes Tonka simply makes faces! I’d been rubbing his head, which he greatly enjoys, and that was his response.

Remember you getting him, time flies does not seem like 7 years. Love going on your journeys and adventures with Tonka, long may they continue.
It doesn’t seem like that long, does it? Then again, I can’t imagine what life was like without Tonka.
